Hi

Anyone help with this fault code?

2632-8 Check system: "Charge Pressure Control Charge pressure is too high"

It's on a W211 E220 CDI (OM646) with no DPF fitted.

No problem with driving, car goes as normal with no limp mode or malfunction on dash.

It's the last fault shown after I did the ABS impulse rings etc. so is rather annoying having 1 fault code when the car drives as normal.

This code is triggered by MAP sensor.pressure is controlled by turbo actuator .

Mine has the same code with but w/o any problem. This is recorded in the moment when turbo blows air .it is just a moment.

Thanks, yes car goes perfectly.

I may remove the air pressure sensor and have a look at this and the turbo actuator.

Do not remove the air pressure sensor ,because it sends the signal to ECU and this controls the turbo actuator

I'm not going to run the car like this. :D

Will have a check over these though next time I have the engine cover off.

Removed the MAF/MAP sensor housing, blew it out with some compressed air, cleaned it up a bit, refitted, checked all connections then cleared the error.

Has not shown again after a few days so maybe just a gremlin.
