help Alloy wheel colour codes needed

Hi Everyone.

Can any one help, I am having a alloy wheel refinished by my local mercedes spray shop but they can,t match the colour.The colurs they have come up with so far a as good as black and white. Their are trying to get MB uk to supply the right codes but still waiting.

I have e mailed AAG in Austria who made the wheels but have had no reply yet?

My wheel is 17" Alshain finished in STERLING SILVER.

Has anyone out there got any idae of the colour codes being used forn the wheel.

Bodyshops do not do proper full refurbishments and normally do what is called a "touch up" by just respraying/painting the front face of the alloy wheel (same as mobile alloy wheel repairers!!!). They tend to just respray over the original finish without properly stripping the wheel of its orginal paint back to the bare metal.

Professional wheel refurbishers use acid etc. to strip the wheels clean prior to the respray process.

Edit: All MB Approved bodyshops have the colour codes for all MB products and if they dont then should at least be able to find the codes themselves...!!!
