Hello everyone

I hope I've posted this thread in the right section, If not, sorry admin, please move it if needs to.

Recently I bought a facelift cl500 w215 model and the car has done only 63k. The car has had only 2 owners, last one had it for 14 years.
I've spent 3 months now restoring the car to as new condition as possible, inside, outside and underneath. Will make a thread for the work ive done to it soon.

It had a warning light on saying lock passanger seat and I knew that it was a job I wasn't looking forward to doing so I thought I'd leave it as the last thing to do.

I fixed the seat 2 days ago and once i started the car up, ABC warning light was on :(
I had no idea about this problem when I bought the car as with the ignition on it had no faults and once starting up the car the warning light for the seat would come on and you couldn't see any other faults as it wouldn't let you.
To say I'm upset about this would be an understatement as I've spent so much money and so many hours doing this car up it's crazy and now I have to deal with this problem too!

I've plugged the car in with kts200 (bosch) and the faults that come up are

C1525 unknown fault
C1526 unknown fault

In the cluster once starting the engine up it says

ACTIVE BODY CONTROL
ABC
VISIT WORKSHOP

The warning light is in light blue. Not red
The warning light comes on as soon as I start the engine. Once I turn the engine off and turn the ignition back on, it says no malfunction, only with engine running the light comes on

I've tried to clear the fault and it doesn't let me.

There are no leaks anywhere, the suspension goes up and down as it's meant to. Even if the car is parked for 1 week it doesn't go down.
The sport button makes the suspension a bit harder and you can notice it when pressing the button so it seems like everything is working.
I've checked the linkages front and rear if they were damaged or broken, all good.
I've unplugged the wires and there is no broken wires or any dirt inside.

The fluid level was just below min and I bought some fluid from Mercedes and topped it up hoping the light would go off but after driving the car for 5 miles or so the light is still on.

Has anyone had this problem? What could it be? Anything I can check before taking the car to a Mercedes dealer or Mercedes specialist?

Sorry for the long post, I had to let it out as this car has upset me now. Always liked this cars and I thought I'd buy one but I think I will sell it once I fix this problem too and go for what I've wanted for some time now, e55 amg w211.
The car drives beautiful and plenty of power but this experience has ruined it for me :(

Any advice or info would be much appreciated!

Blue light generally means it’s an electrical issue. First thing I’d do (from experience) is disconnect each level sensor, give them all a good clean/lube then reconnect and see if the error goes away.

Thank you! I will give it a go and lube them and see how it goes.

As you've stated the fluid level was found 'just below min' could it be that the fluid/system needs bleeding?

Hope you get sorted soon and cheaply :dk:
