Help!! Differance between saloon/roof bars?

Hey all!!

A set of genuine roof bars for a w203 have come up but the seller doesn't know if they are for a saloon or estate, he's put the following picture which would indicate its for a saloon, would I be right in presuming this

Going by the photo - it looks like for a saloon .

Estate bars will be designed to fit onto the permanent roof rails ; saloon ones will have feet to clip over the edges of the roof .

A look at the ends should determine which they are .

Yes, they are for the saloon.

As you say the big hint is the diagram of the car. The next hint is the foot for attaching to a channel in the roof, rather than on roof rails of an estate.
