HELP, FIBER OPTIC CABLES,STEREO UPGRADE,HELP! Fiber optic cables??? what do i do>???

Hi and Hello Everyone

Im going literaly mental!!! I have MB e class w211 52 plate (2002) elegance

So I decided I had enough of my "poor" sound quality-So I bought a brand new double din,subwoofer,amp,leads and all that...
So I thought its gonna be an easy job,get an ISO adapter -end of story.

B.U.T N0!!!!!

My bloody car uses fiber optic cables,Ive took my original stereo out (Audio 20) and thats what I saw, 2 little cables with a light flashing at the end. I thought WOW...what is this now!!! Spoke with my friend, - done my reaserch,- its A fiber optic cable!!!!!

Guys what do I do??? please ....there should be some sort of ISO adapter for it or something.... I dont mind paying £1 000 000 for it!!!! There should be another way of going around them??


So my car is e240 (w211) 2002 (Plate52)elegance, fitted with Audio 20 head unit +6 cd changer.

P.S - Im not a mechanic nor electrician, I dont do BIG jobs
Who can help?!? Who can give me advise....Please - PLEASE!

If you have the early W211 with audio-20 that only has a small fibre connector and power with no quadlock, then all your speaker wiring is in the boot at the AGW. You will need this loom below to convert it to quadlock. whereupon you can then install your aftermarket system;
