firstly i would like to thank you all for the various bits of advice that i have so far tried..but.... my alarm lights just carry on going off:dk:

this evening so far 5 times, i have covered my sensors with black tape, yep that should do it.... 2 hours later, they went off again.:dk:

i am foxed..:crazy:
so for the short term, i need to disable the alarm system on my merc until i can get it checked over by the garage..
i have a e300td 97 model estate. w210
its got fuzes both front and rear [under seat]

i have looked at the book and it just dont say what fuse to remove to disable the alarm system..

as far as i can work out its 5, 11, 19 under the back seat or/and 41 in the front but surely this knocks out so many more things.

has this happened to you on this model and if so, what 1 fuse do i remove to switch the alarm off, or, do i remove more than 1...

i would seriously like your advice and help as we have been awoken in the dead of night :eek: by the police and by our very patient neighbours over the last 3 days and my wife, who is normally very good is becoming very ..shall we say annoyed at my motor...

at least the police are doing a fantastic job by keeping us informed of the mercs minor mishaps, 3 cheers to them, even if they do wake us up..
maybe i should put a flask of tea on standby:rolleyes:

we are once again off to bed now, its almost 12.40am, i have to be up at 4.30 and will be out untill 6pm on saturday, but i will check your hopeful answers 1st thing and again when i return...

have a great weekend all

help:doh::crazy::dk::wallbash:

cant remember which fuse does it but it is under the rear seat, your fault will be the siren,but have it checked out by someone with a star machine.

Is the immobiliser circuit linked to the alarm? If so be careful which fuse you pull as you might disable the car completely!
