Hi guys,

My E320 CDI 2002 blows hot air from the centre vents even though the setting control is set to cold, have you any idea before I take it in? Don't wanna get ripped off!

actuator

likely a worn broken linkage on actuator.i can put it on stardiag.if actuator then it
is about 11-12hours job to disassemble the dashboard and to put back

I think you will find it is your duo valve, which controls your hot and cold temp, the actuator fault described above would effect air flow and would be accompanied with a clicking noise.

search for duo valve on here, many post's.

Thanks for your responses, I have a heater pump come up on the computer when plugged in. Do you think that could be the cause?

I doubt it. That code always comes up even though it may work fine.

Tap the duo valve with a small hammer gently while turning the heater control wheels. It may in stick it.
