Hope some one can help !!!
Or give advice !!!
I have a w208 clk 2.3 on the 2002 plate
While coming down to altontowers for the weekend, leaving the park early because we were like drowned rats.
I left Altons and just before the small bridge I went through a puddle
Alloy buggered tyre burst on the inside.
F£&@(;) rage
Can anyone help because I don't know what type of alloys I have.
The tyre is 225/40zr18
The alloy type is in my profile pictures
As I am in uttoxeter and might have a better chance getting one down here ?
The spare steel wheel will do to get me back home.
Just ****** off with any damage to my car

Take it to a wheel refurber they should be able to tell you if it can be sorted out, £60 a wheel going rate nothing major tho seen worse

Sounds like you have left the area but if you can get a picture of the pothole the local council may refund the costs, I got a tyre paid for a few months back. Worth a try with pics of your tyre, wheel and an email to the council website ! ( sorry can't help with the wheel type)

Councils only usually pay out if you can prove neglect.

True but for the time to send an email, fill out a form it's worth a try

Does anyone know what type of alloy I have ?
I can't find it anywhere :-(

Hi. Your wheel appears to be a replica AMG twin/double spoke wheel as fitted to C32 amg. There is one wheel listed on eBay at the moment.

Item number: 331143726751

Might be worth a look as repairing your wheel could cost upto £100 if buckled/cracked and there's no guarantee that it will be fixed. HTH

Thanks for this info
I love my car and it's wheels
I will look at fleebay just now and see what condition it's in
I would rather buy it from a member of the club
That way you know it's an all right deal.
Thanks again for getting back so quick

Report it to the council..
If the hole isn't fixed within a reasonable time ( think its a week ) they become liable as long as you can provide evidence

The wheel looks very repairable to me. I had a similar ding on the inside of one of my alloys and a local engineering company sorted it. Have a look on youtube for alloy wheel straightening, very impressive what can be done.
