Help Please. Jordan/Syria/Oman, anyone been? Trying to decide holiday.

Hi All,

The Girlfriend and I are trying to plan a trip for 7-9 days. We've decided on the Middle East and within that either Jordan, Syria or Oman. We'll be going in October. We had a reasonably chilled out holiday this summer, so we don't mind if this holiday is a bit more "jam packed".

My original thoughts were to go to Syria and Jordan. However, my girlfriend informs me that we wouldn't be able to see the main sights of both in the time we have. Is that correct? If so, I think I would rather go to either Syria or Oman.

Just looking for recommendations and ideas from anyone who has been please.

We're currently considering doing an Imaginative Traveller or Intrepid tour.
