Ladies,

I am getting a new phone off a colleuge from work. Sony C905.

I have a UHI pre wiring with a phone specific (K800i cradle)

Will this part work in my car (2005 211)

Used Mercedes SAP V2 Bluetooth Phone cradle on eBay (end time 20-May-10 08:55:43 BST)

That should work with your car. I take it you have the split-cover centre-cubby hole with the plug inside for an adapter?

I'd be more concerned about the Sony phone working with the SAP puck. Are you sure it does SAP BT?

I have a feeling that you'd be possibly better off with an HFP puck. I can't see anywhere which says that the C905 supports SAP. I don't think Sony Ericssons do...

There wasn't in my Samsung 8910i manual, but it still did it!

Might be best to try before you buy, if you know someone who already has a SAP puck?

Will a VISEO adaptor work? Or is the HFP my only option

I had a K800i with a UHI cradel and worked a treat.

So no Viseoo will work in my car. Ive looked on eBay and found a viseoo and the seller claims it will work in cars with UHI wiring. I just want to make sure before I get the phone and adaptor.

I think Gordon was being a bit tongue-in-cheek.

There's no reason for the puck (whether HFP, SAP or ViseeO) not to work with the car. It's just down to the question of which puck will work with the phone.

dont get the SAP V2, wont work with the sony phones, been there done that! ended up selling it and getting the viseeo

Will try the VISeoo as thats the cheapest. I cannot see phone specific cradles for the C905 which is what I really wanted, ah well.
