ps great forum
oh car is a c220 cdi w203 estate 2004

Surely you can see whats bent by comparing the damaged side with the undamaged side?

hi , yes i can see what is bent , i just need a parts diagram if any one has one, so i can take it with me to the garage , so i can show them what needs doing , i have been panel beater/ met bodyshop fitter stripper for over 25 years , i just need them to change whats bent and not what not , i know what thay will say oh it all needs changing ££££££ , been there seen it :thumb:

I see, though you'll save yourself ££££££ if you can change the bent part yourself.

REAR AXLE SUSPENSION REAR AXLE

Some of the arms may have excentric mounting bolts and washers to adjust the suspension. Make sure you make a careful note of their position before dismantling. You should probably get a 4 wheel alignment done after the repair by someone who--1. has the right equipment ---and 2. knows what they are doing.

I can just imagine them saying the above, and also that you must have an all-wheel alignment to ensure nothing else is bent, etc, etc............

All the more reason why you might be better off fitting the part yourself....or get a mate to do it.
