I am looking to buy a C63S and found a car but the various online MB VIN decoders can’t identify the car. (I’ve tried a few)

Can anyone help me ? The VIN is WDD2054872F830433

Just worried that I don’t get scammed!

Thanks in advance for any help/feedback.

I've tried , all say no car found.

Some say car is too new and not yet added . ??

Thank you so much @aybracers

Update: the registration is LR19LZK. Was trying to negotiate with the dealer to deliver as I’m quite far away.

They have now admitted that it’s on SoR (didnt tell me this before), and have indicated they won’t sell it unless i go in to sign the paperwork, which I can’t do as it would mean taking time off work.

SoR? Sale or Return, or SORN?

Shame to miss it if it ticks all your boxes; can you really not take the time off work? Would flying down be an option? I flew up to pick up three of my cars, but I live near Heathrow and there are BA scheduled dailies to Leeds, Liverpool and Belfast,, so each was done in a day, albeit with a very early start for Belfast. The possible downside is that if you don't like it, you can't then drive home in it.

Sale or Return. I think the dealership doesn’t own it, hence not willing to do a distance sale.

It’s in Scotland so will mean flying up and driving it down. Would much rather have it delivered, and not in any rush so may just wait for something to come up closer. Shame as it seems a lovely spec.

Fly up the drive back will be great plus always trust your eye's rather than photos if at all possible I fetched mine from canary wharf and im north notts 😀

Just leave it with them that : "you want to buy it, but it's up to them to organise delivery" ..

You're playing hardball with them then, and with them on the backfoot. -Quite genuinely you have decided that you are prepared to simply walk away from the deal & go elsewhere, so you have the upper hand from a negotiation perspective.

Perhaps even put your ",,want to buy it, but it's up to them to organise delivery" in an email to them along with your details. That way they have your confirmed interest, and something to show to the vehicle's owner.
