The anti-towing - anti theft button on my 2002 W210 320CDI is misbehaving.
I have followed the instructions in the manual but the light on the switch is on permanently.
I am staying with Mrs Ringways in-laws at the moment (quiet neighbourhood for mainly older folk) and woke up half of the street at 4.00am and 4.40am.![Eek! :o :o](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f631.png)

I have had to leave the car unlocked because the alarm keeps activating.
Any advice much appreciated.
Paul.
