Help the other day at the fuel pumps the w203 220 cdi would not start ,the starter motor not working .got it home and had a look in the forum I followed ollys advice and checked the 15amp starter fuse ,it was o/c so I uprated it to 20 amp great sorted ! went in doors had a glass of wine then my son came home and told me the car was sitting there with the cooling fan running and the head lights flashing, if I start the car up its fine turn it off it all starts again so I put the battery on charge next day its fine so I thought. Wrong off it went again so tonight I replaced the battery still faulty.
Any ideas please HELP!

Sounds like a front Sam issue. Needs to go on a star

Up-rating the fuse is not a good idea. 15 amp fuse means current in that circuit shouldn't exceed 15 amps. If it does then there's a fault. By the time your 20 amp fuse blows, you've probably already fried some expensive modules in the car.
