Good Morning,
I can see much has been written about the EGR system, but I cant find specifics to help me fit the EGR shunt to my C270 W203 model, I built the circuit provided by "Diesel Man"
Can anyone help with a pinout of the ECU wiring?? I'm not even sure im looking at the ECU (top lefthand enclosure of engine bay from front?) where the fuses and relays are located?
Q. Can I fit the shunt locally as a diagnostic to the EGR sensor plug??
(I understand its not a clean dry environmenet) but to see if it stops my
motor going into limp home mode it would be a help, can anyone tell me which pin's would need what connections to the resister\diode circuit.
Lastly a comment about OBD2 engine codes etc, My model is a 2001, and I bought a couple of cheap OBD2 readers from ebay, but neither read codes, just give rpm etc, SO am I right to assume the car while OBD complient doesnt have full functionality until the 2003/4 year??, I have read a few threads, I'm not alone with this issue, but no one has conclusivly said this is the case.
Appreciate anyones help\comments,
