Help with diagnostic MM13 Engine Mounts with pics

Hi all, I just removed the engine mounts from my CL, pics attached. The mounts are not leaking and are still of equal height. However there is quite alot of cracking in the top mounting area around the rubber neck. Can anyone help with a definitive answer as to whether they are shot or not? I have new mounts which I will be putting in once the floor outside dries up a little (home DIY). Thanks.

the only thing I know is that there is a spec measurement for the gap between engine brace and subframe in the Mercedes workshop manual
for my car.

This measurement determines if the mounts have sagged or not.

You need to find the measurement for your car, but as you have now taken the mounts off, there is no point and best just put the new mounts on.
