Hello all. My woes continue.
My van keeps going into limp mode but no light on the dashboard. This has started since I had the clutch done and I seem to be down on my MPG as well. Garage said the plastic MAF connector was broken and missing when they went to unplug it and the cables only have the push on ends on. So like the morons they have turned out to be they pulled all the wires off without writing down the order and just chucked them back on. My plan is to find a van in the scrap yard and cut the plug off and solder it on to the loom in my van. But as a temporary measure can anyone send me the wiring order or a pic of a maf sensor so i can replug the unit to keep the van usable.
Its going to go into a local merc specialist in a couple of weeks (Must stress not the same guys as did the clutch) once i have saved some cash up to give it a once over so its only going to be a patch up so i can keep driving it.

Thanks in advance

Bump - anyone..... Please. I can offer biscuits and tea as a bribe.

on the MAF connector itself the voltages are:
Pin|Voltage
2|12v
3|Gnd
4|5v
5|signal

Cheers Dieselman. Dont suppose you have the colour codes for the wires. The connector is missing and the wires from the loom only have crimped push connectors on them. Need to plug them onto the right pins on the MAF sensor.

Sorry, I don't but from that info you should be able to work it out easily enough with a meter.

Normally there are only 4 connections;
I'm having the same problem as the book colors do not match
Two pins were still connected
2. 12v Red/Yellow
3. Gnd Brown/Yellow
4. 5v ?
5. signal ?
Other two wires are Green/Yellow and Brown/Black should be able too work it out thanks for your help

I still haven't figured out where my maf is
