Total disaster. W140 which I wil be breaking for the engine shortly. Wanted to use it this morning as Navara propshaft in pieces. Ran car up on drive to get Tomtom charging.
Car has self-locked and spare key is in key ring in car.
Engine running, no chance with a coat hanger (tried). No point in breaking back quarterlight window as the child override switch deployed due to a lazy back window.

Total nightmare.

Any ideas?

Don't bother breaking quarter lights (not that it would benefit you), do a "lift" glass instead. A replacement one is about £25 on ebay and you can fit it yourself instead of getting it bonded.

Of course if you're only going to break it that may be irrelevant. Can you get anything inside to maybe push the unlock button on the dash?

You could disconnect the fuel pump supply under the car to stop the engine for starters.

Force or drill out the boot lid lock --you are breaking the car right? then wind open the sunroof manually from the boot?

car was getting hot so broke quarter and used electricians whippy drag through rods to push dash button.
