You're at the pub... what fine drink are you going to select?

Oh, but damn and blast, your favourite isn't on the list... what do you choose???

By choice - London Pride

If it ain't there.... Guinness (plastic Irishman that I am)

Guinness in Donegal ( only ) and Millers elsewhere. I have a bottle of Old Speckled Hen in the fridge...nice.

Hoegaarden with 2 slices of lime if i'm eating. if not, Guiness!

1st choice Kronenburg 1664, 2nd choice Becks, 3rd anything 5% ABV and over!

If anyone asks, EDZ649 is making a show of himself outside McDo's... :D

depends on the day, the mood and the weather

If it's hot then either Stella or a cider

if it's cold then a Harvey's (local brewery) bitter

Seasonally dependent

In Winter local real ale bitters or Guiness

In Summer Becks, Stella, Kronenburg Blonde or anything lagerish over 5%

Pub - local bitter

Home @ Sussex - Jack Daniels or a decent malt

Home @ France - G&T, Ricard pastis, local chilled rose (during the day), Chateauneuf du Pape (evening)

Real Ale, preferably Badgers Golden Glory or for a refreshing drink half a lager in a pint glassed topped up with ginger beer. Mohito if I fancy a cocktail.

40 year old Calem port to go with the cheese finishing with a good brandy.

Peroni/Nastro Azzuro, Erdinger Wise, Desperados or a G&T

Directors Bitter providing its a well kept celler.
Otherwise either White Shield or ordinary Light Ale.

Stella 'whats your problem' Artois by choice... if unavailable any larger in descending ABV order.
Occasionally cider in the summer (not had any yet this year!) and occasionally Guiness in the winter.
If none of the above available then anything...

John Smith's Smooth in the pub. Glass or two of Shiraz at home. That'll do nicely.

No, it couldn't have been me, street drinking has been banned in Hastings and Bexhill!

and you would know that because? :)

I Knew about Hastings but I didn't know they'd banned it in Bexhill as well - best be careful about taking a few beers down the beach then :)
