Had the chance today to give my newly acquired steed a bit of beans for the first time and have to say that I was really impressed by how goddam rapid it is, however, I seem to have a quite obvious flat spot at 4000 rpm. Up to 4k it goes like stink then it seems to, take a breath if you like, then once past 4k it again pulls like a nutter. I tried it a couple of times just to make sure it wasnt a one off and every time its the same, 4000 rpm hesitation then back to normal. I was going to take the plugs out this evening to check them but seeing as they a bit awkward if you have hands like shovels and only one wrist per arm I decided to leave them until I buy new ones so as only doing the job once. Any one have any other thoughts on what could be causing my hiccup?
