Hi Everyone,
Recently purchased 2001 ML270, Luv it only had a few weeks, Have joined this site because I have my first problem with ML, No5 heater plug has packed up and curly dash light stops on, So now I will attempt to seek help from site.

Edek, welcome to MBClub. Great choice of car, the ML270 is fantastic.

Sorry to hear you've experienced a problem already. If you bought it from a dealer you might want to ask for them to fix it. If not, it will probably worth replace all five glow plugs whilst you're at it, if ones gone the others will soon too.

That said I'm pretty sure it will continue to start in cold weather, as long as the other four are working, or maybe even three. However sod's law means that the others will follow...

Thanks for the reply, Yes sods law it had to be No5 with all sorts in the way to get at it
trouble is if I don't replace it to soon it could be a pig to get out,
Does anyone know if I can safely disconnect the fuel return???fitting that is in the way
whithout causing moor probs.
