Hi - and help to decide!

Newbie here, just joined as in the market to fulfil my desire to get my dream classic. If I can decide which one!

Want an eighties built merc as a useable classic, not to store away in a garage. Deliberating between W123 (230 or 280) coupe, W124 300E or W126 300SE.

Fell in love with S class when step father purchased direct from factory in 1983 a 280SE which I had the pleasure to drive...a lot(!)...once I was old enough(at age 18) ...it was an amazing experience, gorgeous vehicle!

Have owned and sold a 1990 200E previously about 8 years ago which I also loved, but would like more 'toys' (leather, air con etc) but then again I love the look of an '84 230 or 280 CE.

So....whaddya think?

I did consider both a 230 and a 300 if budget allowed
