hi everyone i hope you can help i have a ml320cdi 07 year and it has a canbus fault i have got it down to the pair of canbus wires that go to the tcu

my problem is the canbus wires for the tcm one of them has a short to ground and it turns the canbus off i need to know if the wires go directly from the multi connector in the left footwell to the tcm so i can trace them out many thanks

Have you disconnected the module or are you testing into it? The module is just above the footwell on the side of the heater A/C box.

hi i disconnected the module and tested the pair of wires one was short to ground even with the plug off at the transmission end too thanks Mel
