Hi everyone The clock is not showing the correct minutes

My Mercedes S320 W221 has a problem. The clock is showing the wrong minutes and I can only adjust by 30min intervals at a time. Any Ideas as I believe these are sat set.
 
I had the same problem with my 221, mine was one hour out as I had a new battery. I tried to do the usual vehicle settings and nothing. As I have a Service contract with MB Brooklands for the CL I asked them. It needs to go on the Star to be re-calibrated, something to do with the GPS. It was a recall, he showed me the letter from MB Head Office.

Change the sat nav time?

Hi I have the repair you have to access the time option before the GPS locks you out about 30 seconds from a cold start on position one on the key only then do you have access to the minute option

I expect the date is wrong too. if you power off the command lock up and leave the car for about 4 hours or overnight, get back in ignition on, command on adjust the date and time as quick as you can within about 60 seconds before it picks up satellites.
I sorted mine then after some idiot drove in to it, it was in getting a bodywork repair done battery disconnected etc and now just got it back with the same issue.
It is very irritating.
