I am new to the club, but not to Merc ownership. I have owned a W202 C180 for 3 years, and still have it. I have just bought a W208 CLK 230 Kompressor but am starting to regret it! I should have checked it over more thoroughly and noticed the faulty heater blower and HRW! Yet everything has been brilliant with my 1995 C180.

Heater blower is likely to be the motor brushes.
