Based in Henley on Thames I have owned a W210 320cdi since new in 2001 which has now done 135000 miles.
Superb car, totally reliable 37 mpg and mid range acceleration to blow away 95% of cars on the road.
Rust did become apparent at around 7 years in the usual places but Merc did take it back and anecdotally (I never saw a bill) spent 6 weeks and about £5000 replacing boot lid, wings etc Came back looking like new. This despite previous two services by indie.
Now getting bored with it and thinking of adding a clk280 or 350 convertible if I can fit 3 children in one for school run. Would be interested to hear comments from anyone shifting children in a clk on a regular basis.
