Hi guys just a quick hello from North Wales, just bought first,and at my age(60!!) possibly my last Merc, a 2001 CLK 200k in Quartz Blue, Two tone grey /blue leather interior, only 42000 on clock and appart from minor wheel marking pretty well immaculate outside, just a couple of marks on drivers seat,belt contact by the looks,which brings me me my first question to you experienced folk out there,how do I identify interior colours(got "build Sheet" in service book but can`t decifer German descriptions,found a few leather dyes offered on net,obviously I need to know what to ask for....Sorry `bout rambling on ...will contact again

You can put your VIN number into a website and it will give you a list of options and codes etc (I think in English)

I've not done this yet on my own car and I've had it over 2 years but others have used it and it seems to work well.

interor colour

Hello again guys ,went on Russian website ,fasinatin` info but just as suggested by local dealer sumfin` wrong says interior is" Anthracite&Dark blue" cloth ,but it`s definately Pale("Pearl"?? grey and almost Quartz Blue like outside!!! leather any one any clue?. Further to suggestion of BMW, not for me last car was `95 Mustang so had enuff "brash", will stick with "class" now.
