hi everyone, its been a long while since i last owned a Mercedes but i took a fancy to a s211 e320 when i seen a for sale sign stuck in the window. massive milage but seems to have been well looked after by its 2 previous owners. so far I've done a dodgy glow plug to get rid of the annoying warning light, swapped the auto dimming door mirror that had gone dark for a 'normal' (more affordable) mirror and got the navigation working which needed the navigation drive cleaning and updating from a VERY old map. there are a few other bits i will be doing too if / when i get a sudden burst of energy.
many years ago i remember there being a guy in hull who did merc parts (breaker type) that was behind a house around Beverly road area but i cant seem find any trace of them now, does anyone happen to remember them or know how to contact them if they even still exist? id also like to hear from anyone else local who would let me have a quick look at their e320 w211 / s211, mine has / had wiring for a phone in the center console but no phone or phone holder just a loose plastic frame with wires going to it, i guess somebody took the holder out to create more space but id quite like to work out what is missing from mine so i can try get a Bluetooth gizmo fitted and working if possible.
