Hello all, I am a freelance automotive writer living in London, have a shared (with my half-brother) 190E 2.6 1987 left hand drive saloon in Normandy that we use dynamite to start after leaving it at Cherbourg ferry terminal between short breaks in Normandy. A lovely old car with 300,000+ kilometers on its legs and still going very smoothly.
I had a lovely 123 saloon, I restored it only to have it stolen in the great pre-1997 Mercedes theft boom in London in 2005.
I am looking for a W124 estate for us to share in UK, I put a post in General Discussion about this I think. If anyone has a good one for about £1200-1500, diesel or smaller petrol, please let me know.
I am also looking for a N/S/F electric window switch (single one) for a 1987 190E 2.6. The car is left-hand drive if this makes a difference, the number on the switch is: 126 820 81 10
and under that is written:
0383 81 10
It has five pins on it.
I am in London and Normandy and Suffolk but will gladly pay postage.
