Hi all
Carl here from Surrey.
I crashed my Volvo a couple of month ago ( or rather some turd pulled out on me at a T junction wrote it off ) and looking around for a replacement, some of the Mercedes models caught my eye. With only limited sheckles to spend I went on the hunt.
There appeared to be a nice E220 at a dealer in Watford however when we went to see it it looked a bit ratty close up. The dealers were super pushy on the sale of a warranty which also put us off.
Any hoo, we came away disheartened but then I saw this one not 10 miles away from my home. Went and had a look. Paper work seemed fine, plenty of main dealer stamps and then merc specialist. The car has 86k on the clock but to look at it you would barely say its more than a couple of years old. Its super clean inside and out with only a few small blemishes here and there
I am hoping it will be a long and pleasant ownership of this car. Ive never had a Merc before but after a couple of days Im already very impressed. Even though this is 10 years old its super tight and drives like a dream !
One snag I had when I got it was the foot parking brake wasn't ratcheting down. A quick youtube search and it was fixed in ten minutes.
I will pop on here no doubt for info and advice.
