Thanks for all the welcomes. My car is still in Birmingham, and I'm hoping to get it back this week (had the car 8 days, and only driven it for 2!).

In the meantime, I'll have to get used to all the lingo, what with me being an MB virgin.

It might sound daft but I take it that all the 'W' numbers that everyone is talking about is the engine type? If so, How do I know what mine is, and whether it's a good one or not?
