Hi! I’m introducing myself as new member. Been reading posts on this forum for some time. The reason I'm joining, firstly thank you to all here who takes time to thoroughly respond to others with solutions!
The main reason for me joining is to ask for a lot of help, I have a 2005 Mercedes E class E220 S211 (Station wagon), with Harman Kardon Sound system. I’ve owned the car for almost 5 years now, but grown a bit tired of the "boom" from HK Sound system.
I really want to install Ground Zero subwoofer to my car since I got it for free from by buddy. Me and my buddy are not even close to being professionals with installing subwoofers. All we’ve learned/understand from reading the threads on here is that I need a hi/low converter.
Basically me and my buddy need a tutorial for dummies on how to install the subwoofer from start to finish. We’ve tried to read all the threads we could find here, but we can’t seem to understand. We mainly need to know where all the wires, components and where or what to connect. We know what cables are required to install subwoofers on "regular" sound systems, but we don’t know anything about my car with HK.
Worth mentioning that we know where the CD navigation changer and Harman Kardon is located?
I know I’m asking for much, and understand if I’m not going to get the answers I’m looking for, but we’re out of options.
And sorry in advance if this is the wrong thread, and also sorry for my grammar, I didn’t learn to write in English until I was 17, I speak three different languages everyday, each with completely different grammars.
