sorry if this is in the wrong section, im new on here and my current car is a tuned 855 t5 volvo.
Im not new to merecdes had a f reg mk2 190 as my 1st merc quite a few years ago, i've had
w201 190 2.0 carb
w201 190e 2.6
w124 260e 2.6 saloon
w126 380sel ex dubai embassy only had 24k on her and won a concours trophy at mercedes day at Brooklands
w126 420 se
c126 500 sec Bright yellow with deep dish louriner wheels
Also had a wdb201 c180 manual. then i got into Volvo's but am looking to returning to the fold.
I'm obviously aware of the rust issues which the later mercs suffer from but am searching for a wdb210 e430 estate or e55 estate, these prefebably must have 7 seats as ive 5 kids lol.
What other issues do these models suffer from? ive heard of a few e430's giving gearbox trouble? same as c43's. is the box on the e55 the same or stronger?
