Hi People
Well after accidentally buying a 1993 190E on ebay, I've become a massive fan of the older Mercedes cars. The 190E 2.0 is just wonderful.
So here's the thing, I've just bought a 1988 230CE. I haven't picked it up yet, so I don't know if it has a single or double row timing chain on the engine.
Is this a big scary issue? If so is it possible to convert to a twin row chain should the car be a single row model?
Learning as I go (isn't that how life is?)
