Hi all, Im from Belfast
Like many others I found this forum while researching what to do in relation to my Mercedes car.
Some great reading here and I will endeavour to learn as much as possible, but as a newby, please allow me some newby questions!!!
I opted for early retirement earlier this year and I decided to treat myself to a second hand (2009) E class 350D coupe, currently with 53000 miles on the clock, it breezed through its MOT on Monday with no work needed, just washed underneath.
So, now a A2 service message has flashed up, my decision now is wether I take it back to the official MB dealer I purchased it from? or to another local MB specialist ?
Roughly, what should I expect to pay from the official dealer (Isaac Agnew Belfast)
Do members think that a 6 year old car should be retired to the more reasonably priced specialist ?
Thanks for your opinions

Cheers guys, ironically my warranty is also up with the dealer on 11th Jan. I will start searching out a good specialist ! Thanks

Hi and welcome, My CLS 350 came up with a service required in 28 days, as it is just 3 years I thought I would make a few calls, MB main dealer £253, Indi £296???, seemed cheap to me , so I booked the MB dealer and true to their word it was £253, Happy Days. Make a couple of call you never know,
All the best
Herby

To check the prices of main dealer you can go onto the online MB website. You just enter the numberplate and mileage and it will tell you which service is due and the price of it. It should also show all the previous services which have been done if they have been done by a MB dealer.

Hi & Welcome!
