How do I get rid of the hideous shine MB sprayed over my internal plastic,

Detergent and water on a cloth.

Given the siliconed dashboard I wonder if they washed your car with a single bucket and a black sponge fresh from cleaning some other customers wheels.

I never take advantage of 'free valets'.

Window cleaner and a microfiber cloth will do it for you. Beware of using any strong solvent types of liquids since they can make the plastics grey and dull

When you have taken off the silicone try Poorboys natural look dressing, non shine, non silicone based, looks very nice.
