High beam not working

I'm new to the group so hello everyone, could anybody help me please i have a 54 plate mb a140 the high beam will flash but when the lever is pushed forward to keep them on there's nothing at all coming from the high beam, appreciate any help cheers carl.

Immediate thought is a faulty stalk switch, or dirty contacts.
Not sure if one can remove the end of the stalk to spray contact cleaner in there, otherwise a bit of a faff to remove the stalk as the steering wheel has to come off..

Unfortunately, you’ve posted in the wrong section, so won't get the exposure you should. I’ve asked the mods to move this to the correct section, Electronics & Audio.

This is a genuine question, I'm not having a pop, why did you choose to post it in this section? It may be possible to get the mods to rename the sections so they are more clear, avoiding this sort of issue.
