High Level brake light 280sl

Hi all, I've recently bought my first Mercedes, a 98 280sl. The other day I noticed the high level brake light in the boot lid isn't working. Any tips on sorting this problem? Is it easy to get access to remove the light?

I would think that you'll just need to drop the trim panel a bit to get to the light, may be a loose wire but otherwise its the leds?

Thanks for the reply Nick. I assume it's straight forward to un-clip the trim panel, just pull and it comes away?

Carefully pull it away, it will be clipped.

Should give enough access to get to the high level BL.
