Thats great...

Makes mine on only 135k seem just ran in.

Thing is its going better now than new.

Would be interesting to see what repairs have been done over 150K...

That's a lot of miles. I've owned an E270 and it's a great engine (more low down torque than straight six E320 CDI).

At least you can be sure it hasn't been clocked!

The only thing I'd be asking is how often it was serviced, and the usual maintenance - brakes (esp. EBC unit), turbo, etc etc.

You can bet as an airport taxi it's been up and down the motorway!

It's a 2004 car so 415k isn't much.

Dr Nick bought an E300TD with over 400k miles on it in four years.

Same engine as that's in the 312 Sprinter and I've seen one with 720,000 and the only thing that was stopping it was the rust.

This one has a knock, possibly piston slap.

Looks like a bargain - even if it does feel that mileage.

Another year or two, 100,000 miles and throw it in the bin and your quids in.

That driver must have a sore leg from driving that or are the clutches very light in this age of car (I thought MB manuals were shyte?)?

We have a 2005 E220 W211 that's on 500k.

Wow! Highest mileage I've ever owned was 127k, and it was 25 years old :p

aiportstar is that the car in your pic.

500K is ace !!

what parts has it needed? anything major?

52K a year for a 'normal' car I would think IS quite a lot...

My brother does 55 - 60K miles a year and sometimes fills up twice a day, that is a lot of miles. He's in Mainstone one day, Glasgow the next and so on...

He was at a filling station one day and has to give his millage in (fuel card) and said 40,000 (the car was just over 6months old) and a policeman in a patrol car behind said flippin heck you do almost as many miles as us.

:)

cheap car

If the final bid price remains cheap then i'd certainly risk it for what you get. not that i will be as i'm happy with my current fleet.

One of out staff did 275k miles in three years in his Peugeot 406.

Of course Dr Nicks car wasn't a normal car, it was a 300TD. ;)

imgonna be watching that now
