A Few
Ha, have to laugh. I was mentioning that I keep finding new things on my 507.

I took the beast out for a spirited drive and thought I would see the difference when I press the button that looks like a car skidding.
I saw on here that you hold it in for 3 seconds.

I did that and, well, the car felt smoother. I was expecting the opposite. What actually happens?

Then... I was trying to flick between the 2 to gauge the difference and the word SPORT came up in red on the left side of the binnacle and a message about Sport Handlingh Mode.
What on earth does that do exactl;y?

Its all to do with the traction control there are 3 settings
Fully on pretty self explained
Sport mode allows some slip
Fully off make sure you had your weetabix
Its all good fun finding how far you can push it 😉

It seemed to me that the car slipped more before I ever touched the button.
Is that my imagination or could somebody have reversed the action?

The car feels damn fast so I am now suspecting it has already been mapped.
An LSD - I dont know. I will investigate,. It never came with it - I checked that.

I had the PPP car (same engine)and all i had done was the LSD at MSL they are quick cars I very much doubt it has been mapped as you would only gain around the 10bhp mark mine standard was 503bhp when the book states 487bhp

Wait till you have the lsd then play with the button 😉

Yeah, soundsl ike the LSD is the main thing worth getting - I can leave the engine and exhaust alone.

Sport mode is necessary for the Race Start launch control.

Mostly, it allows more slip before the flashing light on the dash intervenes and keeps you on the road. About a quarter of a turn of opposite lock!
