So someone has drilled into the dashboard to fit a mobile phone holder or something.
Does anyone have any tricks or ideas to fix this type of eyesore?
Thanks.

There is a good article about exactly this issue by Jeremy Stevens in this months Mercedes Benz Club Gazette.

Read that excellent ARTICLE- rather good but does refer to the plastic sides of the centre console of an SLK and involves the use of VIPONDS plastic trim paint - anthracite 221 Viponds Paints - The Paint Colour Specialists - Architectural, Industrial Signwriting Industries and some Davids p38 epoxy filler . If the present posters problem is with holes drilled in the wooden trim then replacement via a breaker might be the answer? Otherwise appropriate filling and finishing or alternatively simply disguise with a suitable cover - decal/sticker or plate.

ps details posted in deference to forum members who are not yet ;) members of the official MB CLUB
