Came back from holiday yesterday, me and my girlfriend went to Lagos, Portugal for one week. We stayed at the Hotel Tivoli Lagos which was wonderful and the staff were brilliant. Lagos itself was beautiful, a place for the couples or older people to go to if you just want to unwind and relax, which is my interpretation of a good holiday. Definitely recommend it and would love to go there again. Anyone else been/going on holiday?[FONT=&quot][/FONT]

For those with children, Try Hotel Papillon Muna in Side Turkey.
2 big pools, one of which is great for kids with huge waterslides, all day kids club, gardens down to privare beach which are all sand.
Water is like a bath as you can walk out 50 yards and only 3 foot deep.

We stayed here: http://www.domainedefumel.com/ and took 'Les Bonnets' for the week, at the end of May. Fab bit of France and the accomodation is superb. Highly recommended.

That looks great. I love the Dordogne and when we no longer have to have offspring with us that type of place looks the biz!

Off to western Nice end of July - cheapo 2-star but convenient for travel / shopping + paid more for convenient travel times rather than have a 6am return flight or something. Bus or train to Monaco on my 30th :bannana: .
