Hi, my car (m103 engine) has come to me with only stamps in the service book and I can't see any evidence of a service in the last couplle of years. Would be good to know what I should do as a good checkover here at home. Oil and filter of course (Opie recommends 10w40 semi synthetic - presume their filters are ok too or should I get that from main dealer ??) I would also like to do the coolant now that the cold is back! Is the pre-mixed stuff the best and is it as simple to do as it appears - ie drain from lower hose and then refill..?

Any tips etc welcome. Also what about the transmission fluid and rear diff?

Many thanks.

Fuel and air filters, check the condition of the distributor cap and rotor arm.

10/40 semi synthetic is correct. Gearbox oil every 40k. Unless you are sure its been done its well worth doing.
