honest opinions on this colour please

Sorry friend but it's an A from me too- if the car isn't painted black or silver I aint interested- lol

My son has a 964 RS,colour Mint Green, which when viewed on the internet, looks quite different to what it is in reality...colours can be deceptive.

I like it. I'm fed up with the muted monochrome shades we get these days. Life is miserable enough in these recessionary times - a cheerful splash of colour does no harm at all. So it gets a :thumb: from me.

Cheers,

Gaz

A mate of mine has a primrose yellow one of those. As it's an RS the colour is irrelevant. Ony any other car it would be a hospital pass.....

I'll go for black, silver or gunmetal.....

I sometimes try to convince myself that I could live with a dark blue car......but even that seems a stretch.

If you painted an orange stripe over it you could almost convince people it was sponsored by Gulf. :)

I think it's a nice colour and certainly different. Whether people like it or not is their problem, not yours!

All I would say is make sure you get a set of 18" Carerra wheels on it as in my opinion they really set the car off well.

On the subject of Boxsters I've had the pleasure of driving various friend's cars, a 986 2.7 and a 986 3.2 and I've always been very impressed by the suppleness of the chassis and the quality of the driving experience.

The "poor man's 911" is a fatuous argument which makes about as much sense as saying an E Class is a poor man's S Class. To dismiss the E Class because it's not an S Class is patently ridiculous and this argument can exactly applied to Boxsters and 911s.

tail out = backwards through a hedge. great fun!!

They only go through Hedges backwards if you don't have the ability to control them, I was involved in F1 Stock Cars and still Rally so sideways motorsport is my thing but strangely enough I'm not into drifting :dk:

Yuk.... A - sorry.

Funnily enough i was discussing potential colours for Boxsters only yesterday.

1st choice is Black
2nd choice Red

No other colour will do.

Silver is usually my favourite but it doesn't really do anything for the Boxster shape.

Z3M Roadster for me as a fun car :)

2.5 tiptronic Boxster.... (assuming yours is this engine..) no thanks.

Its ok and lowish miles for the money.

enjoy

At least not many drunken drivers would miss this skips dazzling colour and drive into it!
