Honestly dishonest

So, how much honesty is needed to brand yourself as "Honest"??? Just a tiny bit honest, little, modest or only 100% honest?

As I'm on never-ending search for good estate for not such big bunch of money, quite often I look into, to all of you familiar site, with some reviews, comparisons, price ranges, etc.
The reason I'm now writing all this bla bla bla is that BMW 5 series estate 2010 onward is rated as 5 star car but with much more, for me, very serious flaws and possible issues one owner can face with. On the other side Mercedes W212 estate is rated as a 4 star car with some let's say minor giggles I believe everyone could live with.
The most shocking is that Dacia Logan MCV is ranked 4th on the list of top ten estates???? 4th is a car with stopping distance of an avalanche!!!
Of course there are no Mercs on this list but only BMW 3 series estate.

In all 'honesty' I'm not 100% sure I follow you, are you inferring that the car manufacturers are boasting wild claims of excellence and reliability which conflict with the owners views / ratings ?

My boss is honest. He always tells us what he thinks of us. A little bit of dishonesty would be nice though.

Satisfaction is inversely relared to the gap between expectations and reality... if Honest John was not expecting much of the Dacia, it will rank well, but if he had great expectations of the Merc or Beemer... etc.

I find it ironic that our partners hate us lying to them, then when we are honest, would prefer it if we lied to them.
