Returning from a holiday, wife's car had stood one month. Battery flat.

Charged it, all lights flashing on dash.

Starts but hood and winsows will not work.

It's only done 54k miles.

Any ideas of what to do please?

I believe that after the battery is disconnected, or presumably flattened, you need to reset the roof & windows - search the manual, which I am sure will help.

Suggest for the future connecting a CTEK or similar charger when the car is going to be left idle for any length of time - it saves a lot of bu****ing around.

Exactly as above .

To reset windows , press button partway ( manual lowering ) when window fully down , press button fully and hold for 10 seconds , then press up manually , then when fully closed press fully to auto position and hold for 10 sec . This 'teaches' the ECU where the up and down positions of the windows are ; the soft top will only work once this is done .

If you don't figure it out , drive the car into your dealer - it takes two minutes to reset this .
