Hoping I've not bought a moneypit

I always look out for bodywork issues over and above the mechanicals, they can be repaired ( at a cost ) the bodywork, if in a bad state, that is going to cost your your soul !!

I am going to be tarred and feathered now, but the BMW 840i ( mid 1990's ) was almost sat in my garage rather than the SL500 - I really wrestled with myself over which one, then i looked closely at the SL in the flesh - Obviously it is now sat in the garage.

I still love the 840i from that age, maybe one day i can treat myself to both...... Just need those numbers to match the ones on my ticket :cool:

Here's an 8 for you to lust after - almost same colour scheme as my first 740i. In Timm's cars section there is a 2000 740i which is identical, although mine was a 1998 and I'd retained the chrome kidney grilles.
