Good morning,

For reference really.

I have been having a terrible problem with brake judder when high speed braking. And it gets worse the more I drive the car. Initially I did the usual checks: Clocked all 4 discs with a DTI, Calliper and pins checked and suspension for any signs of wear. all proved fine. Then I read on the net about DTV (Disc Variation Thickness) which causes the discs to change size. After another week I took the plunge and replaced the front Discs which were less than a year old and no more hot judder. I took my time bedding in and after 500 miles and a few spirited drives the brakes are great. :thumb:

Discs I took off were Pagid and I replaced with the same. Hopefully the problem will not reoccur!

You must make sure that the hubs are spotless when fitting the discs. If you don't the judder will come back.
