Just replaced the washer and when I turn the tap on now it starts singing when the hot water reaches (but not before) We have a new condensing combi-boiler and I'm guessing it's an airlock somewhere - how do I get rid of it?

P.S. Only does it on the one tap in the house

It sounds like the tap washer is vibrating, there can't be an air lock as it's an open ended outlet.

Thanks. So it may need reseating? Why would it only happen with hotwater?

Will give it a shot

whats it singing... anything we can join in with :)

The flow of water must be resonating the new washer at one of its fundemental frequencies.
Given a short space of time limescale buildup will come along and damp the vibrations and the noise should decrease or go altogether.

....... it might be a loose pipe perhaps come out of a pipe clip somewhere along the run from the new boiler.........
