How can I value and sell a very low mileage E500 estate?

One of my neighbours has a 1999 "V" E36 323i convertible in an individual colour, full spec with only 35k on it.
He paid something like 35k for it back then. It's worth less than the alloys on his 5 series.... he's never going to sell it.

Like Alex225's scenario above have a 28k 2002 A3 Quattro - bog standard factory fresh. Lives in the garage, I could eat my dinner out the engine bay and it smells of new plastic inside!

Doesn't mean it's worth much more than a knacker - maybe a grand but that's it sadly. The fact it's having a £600+ service and belt change this Tuesday won't increase the value £600 either...

Stick it in the auction at the NEC Classic show this November.
